Hume Bundled Branches

2m³ = 1 waste voucher
- 2m³ (2 cubic meters) is: 2m long x 1m high x 1m wide. In feet this equates to 6ft x 3ft x 3ft.

Collection Information: 

• Only put items out the weekend prior (no later than 6am Monday) to your collection. 
• Additional waste above your booking size may not be collected. If it is, the number of vouchers redeemed against your property may be adjusted and will be equivalent to the total waste collected. 
• Ensure your waste can be safely accessed.
  • Keep any gates open and/or provide driveway access. Gate openings need to be wide enough to safely carry items through.
  • Keep items away from buildings, fences or cars.
• Place hard rubbish items inside your front yard/driveway – no more than 2m from the boundary/fence.
  • If you are unable to place the items inside your property boundary you can opt to place them on the nature strip instead.
  • If your property line is more than 2 meters from the kerb, your waste is required to be placed on the nature strip.

(If you are unable to place your waste inside your property, please ring 9205 2200 option 3 to discuss placement options, or make a note in the ‘special instructions’ section of the booking form)

• Ensure items are neatly piled and easily accessible by the collection crew. If you have a fence along your property boundary you will need to ensure the driveway access is clear of obstruction, this includes closed gates or parked cars.
• Only put items out that you want collected. Other items near hard waste or bundled branch piles may be taken by mistake and no compensation will be given.
• Additional conditions as listed on Hume Council website apply.

• Check the 'what we collect' list below so you only place out items that can be collected safely.
• See alternative rubbish disposal options if your items are unable to be collected through this service
• If the property address is accepted, select the next available week for collection.

*Collections will take place between Monday – Friday during the week of your booking.
Please note- throughout December there will be limited numbers of collections due to the Christmas period. Please book your collection ASAP and note there may be an extended wait for your hard rubbish to be collected
Time to place your collection: Ensure your items are placed for collection by 6am Monday morning on the week of collection.
 

What Items can I put out ?

We will COLLECT

Tree branches and prunings

• up to 75mm thick
• up to 1.5m long
• must be tied with string or twine only

Tree limbs

• from 75mm to 200mm thick
• up to 1.5m long
• must be untied and neatly stacked
• branches and leaves removed

Tree roots

• must be a size/weight that can be safely lifted by one person

We will NOT COLLECT

• Branches and tree limbs longer than 1.5 metres
• Branches that are untied, or tied with something other than twine or string
• Tree limbs that are thicker than 200mm in diameter
• Tree limbs that have branches and leaves still attached
• Tree roots that cannot be safely lifted by one person
• Items accepted through our hard waste collection service
• Wood, timber or timber pallets
• Any other items that are not tree branches, tree limbs or tree roots.
