How much rubbish can you put out?
4m³ equals – 4m x 1m x 1m. In feet, this equates to 13ft x 3ft x 3ft.
2m³ equals – 2m x 1m x 1m. In feet, this equates to 7ft x 3ft x 3ft.
4m³ of hard rubbish
2m³ of green waste (branches)
Please place your rubbish:
Out the weekend before your collection (no later than 6am Monday morning of your collection week).
Just inside your property boundary – either front lawn or driveway, no more than 2 metres from the property boundary, with clear access for collection crews.
We encourage you to place your items neatly and in a defined pile.
In a spot that is easily accessible by the collection crew and free from obstructions: gates are to be left open and rubbish cannot be leaning on or touching any items such as cars, fences or buildings.
When using the hard rubbish service please note:
If you are unable to place your waste inside your property boundary, please make a note in the ‘special instructions’ section of the booking form so your consideration request can be reviewed by our team.
Do not leave any items of value near hard rubbish piles as these will be deemed as hard rubbish and if taken, no compensation will be given.
